SHOELESS is my debut novel.

 When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading, hiking the North Carolina mountains, painting,

 writing my many penpals, collecting U.S. postage stamps, 

and, most especially, spending time with my family and friends. 

 Oh, I'm also an avid bird watcher from my kitchen table.

 I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my husband, Mark.
